The special aramid fabric and the inner reinforcements on the palm and fingers allow a contact heat resistance of up to 500°C according to the thermal hazard standard EN 407. The aramid fabric sleeve is also lined for extra protection.
These two-finger mittens are suitable for work in contact with high temperatures, where a heat source or casting is present, or in case of prolonged contact with hot objects, as they reduce heat conduction due to multiple layers of insulating fabric.
